High court rejects bank guard killer's final appeal

Chris Casteel Staff Writer ccasteel@oklahoman.comThe U.S. Supreme Court on Monday rejected the final appeal from an Oklahoma death row inmate convicted of killing a security guard in 2004 during a Tulsa bank robbery. The justices without comment declined to review the case of Wade Greely Lay, 57, who was convicted of killing 36-year-old Air Force veteran Kenny Anderson. Anderson died after a gunbattle with Lay and his son, Christopher Douglas Lay, who also participated in the armed robbery at a MidFirst Bank in Tulsa.Read more on NewsOK.com
