Oklahoma employment rate continues to improve

Data released Friday by the U.S. Department of Labor shows the state's preliminary unemployment rate for March was 4.3 percent. That number is three-tenths of a percentage point lower than the preliminary number of 4.6 percent for February, though the Labor Department also revised that number lower to 4.5 percent. Nationally, the unemployment rate declined by 0.2 percentage points in March to 4.5 percent, and is a half percent lower than it was the same time a year ago. Read more on NewsOK.com
