In his three-sentence resignation letter, Marlatt, R-Woodward, thanked his constituents but did not admit to any wrongdoing.
The resignation was effective immediately.
"My service on behalf of the people of Northwest and the Panhandle of Oklahoma has been the privilege of my career," Marlatt wrote in the letter delivered to Gov.Read more on NewsOK.com
