Jury chooses death sentence for beheading at Moore food plant

By Nolan Clay Staff Writer nclay@oklahoman.comNORMAN — A jury Thursday gave murderer Alton Alexander Nolen a death sentence for beheading a co-worker at a Moore food plant in 2014. Nolen, 33, of Moore, had no reaction as the judge read the verdict, even though he had said repeatedly since his arrest that was the punishment he wanted because of his religious beliefs. He kept his head down, his eyes and ears covered with his orange jail top that he had pulled up from the inside. Formal sentencing is in December.Read more on NewsOK.com
